Alternatives to Declawing

Scratching is normal behavior for cats. As cat-lovers, we need to provide them with the ability to do so.

We are here you provide your cat with the ability to scratch. Nail trimming is an important part of this and early life training can make this easier. There are new pheromones that are useful. Here is a link to alternatives to declawing.

Legislation banning Declawing

More jurisdictions have begun banning the procedure. Click here to see information about New York state’s new legislation.

Please feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns.
